The palaces of Versailles just outside Paris are so massive that they cannot all fit in one photograph. This is probably why it is not as recognizable as the Eiffel Tower who can fit in a snapshot. Every King built their own separate wing and it grew larger and larger over centuries. Still, this massive cloud was hovering over the main buildings and made me realize how small this centuries long project of ours looked, in comparison to the forces of nature. In the rocks and stone formation in the front portion of this image, you can probably see a hundred different faces, if you look close enough.
Photo is printed on Kodak Professional Endura Metallic paper and framed in pewter-finish 2 5/8 in. wood frame with one 4-ply white mat.
