Some Tai Chi followers believe that the butterfly is of special significance as it represents a "letting go." The butterflies' metamorphosis is something we all need to go through to shed our attachments and become a complete being. I decided to present a bear as a figure of strength and wisdom in this setting. The butterflies are his gift to those who take the time to ask for guidance on their path.
